AI is never credited as an author.
2. AI accelerates the work
We use AI to scan and summarize sources, structure and analyze data, test reasoning, refine language and build charts from verified data.
It makes the work faster and more thorough. It does not decide what the work concludes.
3. Every claim is verified before publication
Facts, figures, quotations and citations are checked against original sources.
AI output is never cited as evidence.
Every piece is reviewed and approved by Outperforma’s founder before release.
4. Confidentiality and copyright come first
Confidential client information never enters an AI tool without the client’s approval, and then only tools whose terms bar training on it.
We do not upload copyrighted material into services that may train on it.
Published work contains no client data without written consent.
5. We are open about how we use AI
Outperforma articles and reports note AI assistance and link to this page.
Any image created or materially altered with AI is labeled, and we do not publish AI-generated images of real people or events.
Accountability
Outperforma Consulting Group holds editorial responsibility for everything it publishes.
Eric Clepper, Founder and Managing Director, is accountable for this policy and reviews it at least annually.
Questions and answers
Does Outperforma use AI on client engagements?
Yes. AI supports research, analysis and the preparation of deliverables, held to the same standard as published work: every finding is verified, and the conclusions are Outperforma’s own. Each engagement also follows the client’s rules for data and tools.
Will my company’s data go into an AI tool?
Only with your approval. Where you approve it, we work exclusively in tools whose terms prohibit the provider from training on your information, and we can work inside your own approved environment on request.
Is anything published without human review?
No. Every article, report and briefing is reviewed and approved before release, and nothing is altered by AI after that approval.
How can I tell when AI contributed to a piece?
Every Outperforma article and report carries a short note on AI assistance, with a link to this page.
Which AI tools does Outperforma use?
Commercially available AI models and analytics tools, selected for accuracy and data protection. Because the tools evolve quickly, we publish our standards rather than a fixed list. Clients may ask at any time which tools are used on their engagement.
Does Outperforma publish AI-generated images?
Only as clearly labeled illustrations. We do not publish AI-generated images that depict real people or events.
